Using Mission Control, Spaces, Exposé, and Dashboard

  • Chapter
Taking Your OS X Lion to the Max

Abstract

It’s not a NASA initiative, despite the name’s interstellar overtones. Mission Control represents the evolution of three technologies introduced in earlier versions of Mac OS X: Spaces, Exposé, and the Dashboard. These technologies have been combined into a single interface that tidies our busy desktops and offers an at-a-glance overview of all open projects. That’s Mission Control.
