Abstract

The day that OS X Lion was announced, Apple surprised the Mac community with the announcement of OS X Lion Server. Previously, the server version of OS X was a completely separate operating system that provided many collaborative services while still maintaining the ease of use of the Mac OS. That power came with a price tag: Snow Leopard Server cost $499 for an unlimited user license.
