Connecting Monitors and Hardware

Considering how many different companies manufacture monitors, mice, keyboards, web cams, external hard drives and other hardware devices for PCs, Microsoft does a good job at making them all work with Windows 7. With plug and play, all you have to do is connect the device to your computer with a USB or monitor cable, and Windows automatically installs it. Occasionally you may need to help it along with some additional steps or customization.
