Abstract

In our examples to this point, there has been a direct correlation between the name we give a page and the URL that is used to access it. For example, if we create a new web page called MyPage.aspx in the root directory of our Visual Studio ASP.NET project, then the URL that we would use to access it on our development machine would be something like this: http://localhost:1234/MyPage.aspx
