Abstract
Microsoft’s Xbox 360 platform is one of the most popular console gaming systems in the world. As it created Windows Phone 7, Microsoft decided to take some of what makes the Xbox fun and exciting and put it right in the palm of your hand—by building a phone that could connect to Xbox LIVE to play games, check achievements, modify your avatar, and more. This chapter introduces you to the Xbox LIVE tile and highlights a few things you can do with it.
