Backing Up Your Mac

  • Scott Granneman

Abstract

If you don’t back up your Mac, you’re going to regret it one day when you lose your data. It’s that simple. As my buddy Jans likes to remind people, “There are two kinds of computer users in this world: those who have lost data and those who will.” If you’re in the first group, you know the pain you feel when you realize something precious you were keeping—a meaningful picture, an important paper, or a music collection—is now gone forever. If you’re in the second group, you need to do everything in your power to prevent yourself from falling into the first group.
