Abstract

A well-architected backup scheme will plan for every possible failure, whether it’s using a RAID so that you don’t have to restore from backup or restoring from offsite tapes in the event of a disaster. A number of things can go wrong with your server, and planning for each one takes time, care, and sometimes creativity (as does any priceless piece of art).
