The previous chapters have dealt with the various components of backup architectures. From this point forward, we will start to put the pieces together into specific designs that can be expanded upon various size environments. So let’s look at some specific configuration mechanisms around CommVault and how they will apply to various environments. If you are not using CommVault, this chapter can safely be skipped—however, it may be instructive to compare different mechanisms of utilization in order to better understand how NetBackup functions in the same situations and general configurations.
