How Do I Write Good Content?

  • Alexander Dawson

Abstract

You have your site all planned out now, and you know the functionality you want, as well as having plenty of initial concept doodles that describe how you think it could end up looking. But the most important thing about your site is still missing: the content! Before you can begin learning HTML and coding all of the functionality in your site, you need to flex your creative muscles again and start creating your content. Content is the most important element of a site. People will visit your site to learn what you have to say or offer on certain subjects, as well as to find out answers to their questions. Content does more than define the purpose of your site; it’s also what search engines use to rank your site, which can be valuable in gaining a consistent stream of visitors.
