Abstract
The word texting often conjures up images of teens typing messages in the back of a classroom, but text and media messages can actually be very helpful for business users—particularly on the iPhone, where you can type messages using the onscreen keyboard instead of having to repeatedly type number buttons to choose each letter, as on a traditional mobile phone. In this chapter, I’ll examine both how to use text and media (photo or video) messaging on the iPhone as well as how to use this technology in business settings.
