In this chapter, you’ll get started using the .NET Micro Framework and create your first application with it. This chapter covers the system requirements for creating applications with the .NET Micro Framework and introduces Visual Studio, explaining how the .NET Micro Framework extensions are integrated and can be used with it. This chapter also gives you an overview of the files and tools in the .NET Micro Framework SDK.
