Abstract

When you hear the word Internet, what’s the first thing that pops into your head? If you said “web sites,” you wouldn’t be alone! Indeed, most people think that the World Wide Web and the Internet are the same thing. Perhaps it is no surpise then that one of the most common reasons for setting up a Linux server is to run a web site of some kind. People have all sorts of different reasons for putting content on the Internet. Sometimes they want to share their photos with friends and family, they might want to set up a home page for their business, or perhaps they want to start their own blog.
