Developing Cross-Platform Air Applications

AIR will soon be available on more types of devices than personal computers and on different operating systems, and these new devices will have various amounts of horsepower. The development architecture of an application that will be deployed on different devices has to take into account creating different views with different functionality. Think about creating a car: all cars have the same basic functionality and parts, such as a steering wheel and an engine. If we can build a car that has the same operating parts, we can potentially switch the body of the car to change its appearance without affecting the functionality.
