Abstract

I have a little confession to make. I was frustrated by several of the ActionScript examples presented in the earlier chapters. Now, this was neither because of the content of the examples nor the difficulty level of the code or the final result. It was because there was a lot of code that could have been simplified with a couple of libraries that I have become very dependent on in the last several years to make life easier for me, libraries that I created first for ActionScript 2.0 and very quickly ported to ActionScript 3.0 because of their constant use.
