Actionscript in the Third Dimension

We live in a 3D world, and yet for the most part, our information is still stored and delivered in a 2D form. So although we walk through a world existing visually on all sides of us, collecting data that we can reach out and touch, walk around, explore, and occasionally bump into, when we present this data to others, it is most often in the form of the written word on a page or screen, a flat picture, or a moving twodimensional image. No wonder we try so hard to introduce the third dimension to these forms of communication.
