Abstract
At this point, you should understand how to create a new project in Flex and the basic folder structure for your project. This chapter introduces Flex applications. It will serve to set the tone for understanding RIAs, as well as getting started with Flex. We’ll cover the major components of Flex and the areas that you need to have a clear understanding of before we start building this book’s sample project.
