Creating a Web Page and Adding Content


When you create a new web page in Dreamweaver, it presents you with a blank canvas. Although it shares a common interface with graphical design programs in the Adobe Creative Suite, it doesn’t work like a desktop publishing program. If you attempt to drag and drop elements onto the page and move them round without understanding what’s happening to the underlying code, you’ll end up banging your head against the keyboard with frustration. To create a web page, you need to know the basics of inserting and organizing elements on the Dreamweaver page.
