The term pathfinding means pretty much what it sounds like—finding a path. You are at point A. You want to go to point B. How do you get there? This subject has been extensively researched by game developers, and none of what I’ll present here is new material, but it should cover the basics of the subject and give some decent implementations of the standard solutions in ActionScript 3.0.
