Abstract

Open Office.org Draw is commonly seen as one of the peripheral applications in the suite, and yet it’s a very capable piece of design software, as well as being a great addition to the package. Draw can handle most design tasks—with the obvious exception of heavy photographic editing—and can be used either as an integral part of the suite or as a stand-alone application (see Figure 6-1).

Draw is capable of a wide range of design tasks, including posters, floor plans, mind maps, and organizational charts.
