For our fast-paced modern lifestyle, Twitter has filled a gap that fits between text messaging and blogging. You have a spare minute and want to let your pals know what you are doing or thinking, Twitter fits that need nicely. Twitter is a social networking and micro-blogging web application. You can post short messages to tell your friends and everyone else what you’re up to right now. These short messages are referred to as statuses, updates, or tweets.
