Abstract

“In today’s class, we’re going to look into functions,” I started. “You’ve already used them to deal with events, but now you’re going to see where else they can be useful. As I’m sure you remember from a few weeks back, functions are essentially self-contained chunks of code. They’re useful when you have a lot of repetitive tasks in a program. With functions, you can write a piece of code once and call it up whenever it’s required.
