Abstract

There’s something inherently “cool” about the idea of delivering an application over the Web. You can deliver your functionality to any connected device without having to worry about cross-platform issues such as different code bases or user interfaces. You can open up your application to potentially thousands of simultaneous users and allow them to collaborate. Maintaining the application and upgrading it to handle new features or bug fixes is trivial, since the code always lives on your server, not on thousands of different computers all over the globe.
