Abstract
This chapter is about more than just ASP.NET architecture; it’s about how that architecture supports your applications and how you can configure, deploy, cache, and trace those applications. Sure, we’re going to start with some theory, and there are some real good reasons why you should spend some time absorbing and understanding this material—not least of which is that your entire application depends on these concepts. But you’ll also see some of the practical, real-world issues, including how you can use this knowledge to your advantage when faced with challenging design, code, or maintenance tasks.
