Abstract

Sound is an integral part of any film and has been since films were referred to as ‘talkies’, as opposed to ‘silents’. Dialogue, especially, connects the audience to the characters. What they say defines who they are and furthers the narrative. You’ve now got a very basic animatic in Flash. In this chapter, we’ll be importing and adding sound effects and dialogue, and using this to polish the timing of our film a little further.
