Lindsay Wishes for a Problem-Solving Magic Wand
Lindsay Peterson stopped by my office in the first week of September to talk about her project to consolidate worldwide product sales for the Sales Department. I was trying to remember the last time I had spoken to her in an “official” capacity, but was having trouble remembering. I knew it had been awhile. After several minutes of thinking, I remembered it was the beginning of the year, shortly after the birth of her daughter Patricia. The Petersons lived just a few miles from Pam and I, and we often bumped into them at the local park, or at the supermarket. Lindsay was a good project manager and did not often ask for counsel. I knew something big must have happened for her to visit with me.
