Developing Web Applications with Struts

  • Austin Sincock

Throughout the course of this book, the term “Web application” has been used to denote a software program or suite that is fully accessible within a Web browser. As opposed to a single Web page, a Web application comprises multiple functions or at least different views of a dataset. The Web application relies on Web pages to define how the user interacts with its functionality. Beyond the user interface, however, the Web application specifies the logic and screen flow that are needed to form a complete picture for the end user.
