Abstract

Chapter 5, “Understanding Polymorphism,” introduced the concept of polymorphism, a fundamental concept underlying object-oriented programming. Polymorphism is when objects implement similar functionality in different ways, and the user of the objects doesn’t necessarily know about these different implementations.
