Abstract
The vital first step in starting a new web site with Dreamweaver MX is setting up the site definition. This will determine where the program looks for local files, remote files, and testing server files. It gives the program the information it needs to put all those files together as an orderly web site. If this information is wrong, the ability of Dreamweaver MX to function is crippled, and you won’t be able to complete the dynamic connections and functionality you need to be successful.
