Creating 3-D Objects

  • Joe Sutphin

In Chapter 8 you learned how to create simple 2-D drawing entities, such as circles, lines, and text. AutoCAD also provides you with a number of methods to programmatically create complex 3-D solid entities. Represented by the 3DSolid object, each solid entity and the creation of this object in its various disguises will form the basis of this chapter.
