Abstract
Before the arrival of SQL Server CE, the only Pocket PC database you really had to work with was Pocket Access. Without a graphical utility to build and manipulate database objects, programmers had to do all this work in code. Anyone who read my last book, Pocket PC Database Development with eMbedded Visual Basic, learned how to build their own GUI tool to do this work. Luckily, SQL Server CE comes with a slimmed down version of Query Analyzer that you’ll find familiar if you’ve worked with the SQL Server Query Analyzer over the years. As you might imagine, Query Analyzer allows you to view and work with SQL Server CE databases located on your Pocket PC. Not only will you be able to create, view, and manipulate every conceivable database object, but you’ll also be able to create, execute, and save SQL queries and view the results of those queries in a grid.
