The Web Services Description Language

  • Jeffrey Hasan

Abstract

Web Services are formally and fully described using an XML-based document called the Web Service Description Language (WSDL) document. The WSDL document communicates metadata information about the Web service to potential clients and shows them what operations (methods) the Web service supports and how to bind to them.
