Abstract
Oracle10g Application Server provides a valuable caching server in addition to its web listener and application-server software. Web Cache (WC) is a caching listener that sits in front of the Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) and provides cached content to incoming client requests. This allows for faster delivery of content to clients and reduced processing for the back-end OHS, application server, and database components.
