Abstract

Zip-Bam-Bot Version XK1 makes for a unique yet efficient sumo-bot. XKl takes the features its chassis provides (speed, agility, and so on) and puts them to good use. More specifically, it relies on speed, momentum, and some programming smarts to win the round and become top sumo-bot. As shown in Figure 4-1, XK1 is designed with a slope, two touch sensors, and two large claws—features that will frustrate the opponent and gain superiority in the arena. All the pieces that make up XK1 are found in just one RIS.
