Abstract

We have laid the foundation for our first report with the creation of the query and subsequent stored procedure. We also have seen the fundamental elements that are used to build reports and are familiar with the design environment. Now it is time to put all of the pieces together and begin to build reports. The concepts can easily be applied to any company that uses SQL Server and relational database systems. This chapter will focus primarily on creating a reporting solution based on data from a SQL Server healthcare database using many of the available report elements in SRS.
