Abstract

My SQL is a very popular open-source relational database management system (RDBMS) that you will find installed at most ISPs. The ease of installation of MySQL, its stability across multiple platforms, and the wealth of applications that support it make it an obvious choice for many developers. MySQL is licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL), which means that you can use it for free, as long as you do not incorporate it in a product that is not itself licensed under the GPL.
