Abstract
Armistice Day, the 11th of November, was recognized by Congress in 1926 as a remembrance of the date of the end of “the most destructive, sanguinary, and far reaching war in human annals.” Now become Veteran’s Day, it’s a day for Jay Leno jokes about Vietnam vets.
