Advanced C# Type Construction Techniques

This chapter wraps up our investigation of the C# programming language by examining a number of advanced (but extremely useful) syntactic constructs. To begin, we will examine a small set of C# keywords that we have not yet formally examined. For example, you will learn how to programmatically account for overflow/underflow conditions using the “checked”/“unchecked” keywords as well as how to create an “unsafe” code context in order to directly manipulate pointer types using C#.
