Updating Data from Remote .NET Applications
In the previous few chapters you’ve been looking at the process of updating data, and you’ve seen that although this is relatively straightforward in theory, there’s more to it in reality. When dealing with different clients, you have to consider the problems the clients might have in processing data, as well as how to actually update the data. Add to this the possibility of other people changing the same data, and there’s a lot to consider. Because we’ve covered all of this for Web clients, it’s now time for you to look at .NET clients.
