Improving Apache’s Performance

  • Peter Wainwright

Abstract

Getting the best possible performance from a Web server is a key concern for many administrators. Apache has a good reputation for handling heavy load conditions well, but it can’t optimize itself automatically. Some thought on your part is required if you want to get the best out of your server.
