UI Programming: Handling Events and Using Advanced Widgets


This chapter will start with a discussion about handling events, that is, performing some action based on the user’s action. For example, a Button is a UI widget, and a user can signal an event by clicking the button. Clicking the button could trigger a call to a method that can submit the enclosing form or do other useful stuff based on the application’s requirements.
