Abstract

XAML (short for Extensible Application Markup Language, and pronounced “zammel”) is a markup language used to instantiate. NET objecte. Although XAML is a technology that can be applied to many different problem domains, it was initially designed as a part of Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), where it allows Windows developers to construct rich user interfaces. When building user interfaces for Silverlight applications, you use the same standard.
