Abstract

iWeb is the newest iLife application and brings the entire suite home. Using iWeb, you can publish a web site that shows off your photos, videos, and podcasts. You can also use iWeb to pen your own weblog. iWeb is based on the same technology as Appleā€™s Safari web browser, WebCore. In Mac OS X Tiger, Apple added editing support to its browser rendering engine so that developers could create WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) web editors similar to Adobe Dreamweaver or Microsoft Expression.
