Summary
There are a LOT of Ajax frameworks/libraries out on the web, all jockeying for popularity and use. They all are worthy of trial and investigation, and your experience with them will be limited by only time and resources. I’m always on the prowl for the latest and greatest web technology, and these days, with all of the Ajax updates and new releases, I hardly have time for anything else. It is truly an exciting time to be in web development.
In the next chapter, we’ll begin to translate what we’ve seen about all of the various dynamic technologies that make up Ajax into an investigative dissection of what goes into the construction of a basic Ajax library. Understanding the Ajax class library processes will force us to spend less time guessing about the functionality and more time embracing it.
