Summary

In this chapter, we’ve covered a lot of ground. We established the need for the combination of Flash and ASP.NET, discussed some of the advantages of a three-tier application architecture, covered some of the specifics of C# and the .NET Framework, and got a good development environment set up. It is on these foundations that the next chapters move into the creation of ASP.NET/Flash applications. Hang on, it’s going to be a fun ride!
