Summary
eDirectory provides an LDAP server to process LDAP requests from LDAP-compliant clients, which gives eDirectory great flexibility to provide data to a variety of clients. eDirectory’s LDAP server supports Persistent Search, enabling LDAP clients to track changes within eDirectory through a persistent connection. You can manage LDAP objects by using iManager, which enables you to create or configure LDAP objects. Placement of eDirectory replicas plays a key role in LDAP performance.
