Common Command-Line Utilities

  • Chapter
  • 200 Accesses

Summary

The command-line options are useful because you can quickly access the directory from within the directory terminal. However, to avoid having to learn a lot of new switches, I recommend that you use iManager and NDS iMonitor to manage eDirectory. With iManager and NDS iMonitor, you get a cross-platform, unified view of the tools. iManager includes plug-ins that make it easy to understand what information the specified tool requires and gives you clear interfaces for providing the required data.
