iBATIS Integration

In this chapter, you have learned how to use iBATIS in your Spring applications. We believe that iBATIS offers the best trade-off between ease of development and code control. In fact, iBATIS does not generate the SQL code, which means that all your code is not interpreted in any way by the ORM framework. Caching is there to speed up data access in time-critical applications, and if you are aware of the few limitations of the framework, we believe you will be able to write very efficient, elegant, and high-performing applications.
