Abstract

Tertiary education in the Czech Republic includes any type of education that is recognised by the state and requires completed secondary education as an entrance condition. Tertiary education is composed of:
  • Higher education;

  • Tertiary professional education;

  • Post-secondary courses (they will be introduced when a new Act on Education is passed; it is in the process of being adopted by Government and Parliament at the time of writing);

  • Lifelong learning courses.
