Abstract

Input-output research in Latin America, promoted by the Economic Commission for Latin America, began in 1954 in Colombia, and by 1961 extended to Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador, Mexico and Peru. Summary particulars of the available tables1 are given in Table 1.
