Summary

This paper describes an automatic sequence control for programming all the movements of a big turret lathe. Special features are the electrohydraulic servo motors for traversing the slides, the method of avoiding long trailing flexible hoses and the arrangements for obtaining accurate repeatability on a large number of different dimensions.
